Regional Biophysics School

The Biophysical Society of Serbia with the sponsorship of the International Union for Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB) announces the Regional Biophysics School “Academician Radoslav K. Andjus” (NERKA) entitled “IMAGING NEUROINFLAMMATION” taking place in Kotor (Montenegro) from June 17-20, 2016.

The School is directed towards students and young researchers interested in modern methods of biophysical imaging and image analysis in studies of inflammatory phenomena and markers of neurodegenerative diseases.

NERKA school is a great opportunity for all young researchers within the field of neuroscience and biophysics to interact with each other in a small interactive environment and to learn as researchers through exciting talks and discussions with renown speakers. A multidisciplinary faculty is chosen ranging from the fields of:

  •     physics (applications of laser technology and advanced microscopy),
  •     physical chemistry (magnetic resonance techniques and applications),
  •     biology (experimental models of neurodegenerative diseases), and
  •     medicine (clinical studies and markers of neuroinflammation).
